Who I Choose to Become

one woman at two different ages

A few questions before I build your box.

You bought the workshop, or someone who loves you did. This is where she starts.

Answer what you can. Write the way you talk. Two or three sentences is plenty, and one word is sometimes better. Nothing here has to be right. Goals move, and she can move with them.

I read what you send for one purpose: to choose her stones and herbs and to write the first page of your workbook. I do not interpret you. I am an artist, not a clinician, and this workshop is not therapy.

Nine questions are required. The rest are yours to skip. If forms make you want to crawl out of your skin, answer the required ones and send it.

Only if you want me to text or call.
How do you want to hear from me?
Pick more than one if you like.
Street, city, state, and zip.
Not a description. One word that has weight when you say it out loud. Salt. Ladder. Wolf. Hinge. Well. If you have two, give me both and I will ask which one she answers to.
Two or three things from your life right now that she keeps: a habit, a person, a room, a skill, a stubbornness. Name them plainly.
One thing she sets down. You do not have to be sure, and you do not have to explain it.
Not what you should do. What she does.
A stone, a tree, a season, a creature, a saint, a myth, a color, a weather. Anything. She can hold it. If nothing comes, leave this blank and I will choose from your word.
Things you own that could be wrapped into her or hung on her: a button, a charm, a key, a scrap of fabric, a bead, a lock of hair, a line from a letter. You will gather these yourself, so only list what you can find.
The shelf, the windowsill, the nightstand, the spot by the kettle. Wherever she will see you every day.
Colors, scents, symbols, stones. If it would make you flinch, tell me here.
Smaller is faster to wrap. Taller holds more. Most women choose the middle.
A wrapped head holds its stone inside, where no one sees it. A stone head stays in view: you can give her hair or a head covering, or leave her bare. If you leave her bare, the wire and glue that hold the stone will show. I set up her armature either way before I ship, and neither choice changes your ship date.
The box and the workbook are already covered. Yarn and trinkets are added at cost, and I will tell you the number before I ship.
Allergies, scent sensitivities, pregnancy or nursing, small children or pets who will handle her. I work with dried herbs and essential oils, sometimes both. If you want only one, say so here.
Email is open to you either way. Not sure what your gift includes? Leave this blank. I know, and I will tell you when I write back.
