The In-Between of Folklore and the Paranormal

This category is about honoring the residue of the unexplained without abandoning the integrity of the grounded self.

Folklore provides the archetypal map for what we cannot yet name; the paranormal is the raw, often jarring signal of an encounter that defies our current categories. This space isn’t for the certainty of the debunker or the spectacle of the ghost hunter. It is for the sovereign seeker who recognizes that an encounter—whether with a cryptid, a “toxic” entity, or a psychological fissure—leaves a real mark that requires courageous integration.

Curiosity without discernment is a trap. Discernment without empathy is a weapon. Here, we look at the “In-Between” as a sacred liminal space where the unseen is treated with respect, shadows are integrated into our experiences rather than feared, and the paranormal becomes a catalyst for deep, personal transformation.
