You hear your own voice go soft and reasonable while something underneath it goes quiet. You watch yourself fold from somewhere near the ceiling. By Thursday the decision is somewhere you cannot find it, and you are the one who put it there.

The intention has nowhere to live except inside you, and you are already carrying everything else.

Together, we decide what body it needs so it stays steady.

This Is Full Collaboration

Full collaboration means you do not hand me an idea and disappear. You have a voice in what your doll becomes.

You bring the intention you want held. I bring the materials, symbolism, and the odd problem-solving conversations that happen at my workbench. I make suggestions. You make choices. We pay attention when something fits and when something doesn’t. By the time I begin building, I know what matters to you and I still have room to make art.

You choose her size and place your order first. Then I send you a form. The form is where our collaboration begins.

The Form

From the form, you can tell me what you are working on, what you already know you want, and what is still half an idea. Bring the intention in whatever words you actually use for it, including the ones you would not say out loud in front of anyone. Tell me what you are reaching for and what you are afraid grabbing it will cost.

If forms make you want to crawl out of your skin, answer the first five required questions only. We can talk it through from there. And if you want to hand me the whole thing and be completely surprised, you can tell me that too.

The form gives us somewhere to start. It does not ask you to design the doll for me.

From there, we work through the physical choices together.

I suggest gemstones, herbs, oils, colors, yarn, knots, marks, textures, and other materials based on the intention your doll will hold. You choose what belongs. I tell you when a material carries meaning worth considering. You tell me if something feels wrong.

The conversation shapes the build.

And then my hands get involved.

She Holds the Whole Intention

You-Do-You Voodoo™ does not strip an intention down to the part that sounds good on a mug.

A boundary can hold the line and slowly become a wall you cannot see over. Voice can tell the truth and turn into the weapon you swore you would never pick up. Grief work can honor a loss and become the room you live in. Courage can move you and stop looking like courage the third time it costs someone else something. Self-trust can steady you and harden into refusing counsel from anyone.

Your doll is built to hold that complexity.

You are commissioning a material witness: something physical you can approach, grip, speak to, place on an altar, argue with, return to, and use to keep the work visible on the days avoidance gets clever.

She holds the focus. You do the work.

How She Takes Form

Every You-Do-You Voodoo™ doll begins on the same shape: a rigid cross of wire. Each one grows into a singular little figure—part doll, part talisman, part spell, part portrait. That armature is the identity of the line. Then come the batting, the fibers, the yarn, the twine, the knots, the marks, and the first decisions we made together.

At one point she starts answering back.

A color that made perfect sense on paper goes dead in my hands. A stone changes the balance and wants the belly instead of the chest. A binding wants to stay visible. Something I expected to cover becomes the part that gives her presence.

She rarely has a face. What stands in for one is yarn or stone, and I leave it there for whoever looks at her to find. Sometimes a face is there that I never put in.

I pay attention to those disruptions.

You have shaped what she carries. I have built dolls long enough to know when the one on my workbench has something to add.

The Exchange Runs Both Directions

She is not built to sit on a shelf and be admired. She is built to be used, and the using goes both ways.

When you need more of what she was made to hold, take her in your hands and draw from it. Steadiness. Fire. Refusal. Memory. Whatever she carries. When you act in line with her purpose, give some of it back: a boundary kept, a hard conversation finished, a truth said out loud on the first try instead of the fourth.

At first there will be more taking than giving. That is allowed. She was made with intention from the first binding, so she does not need charging to work. Every honest exchange deepens what she carries. Every return makes her more deeply yours.

What You Can Shape

This is where completely custom earns its name. We can work together on her:

• size and overall presence
• the intention or theme she holds
• complexion and hair
• gemstones
• herbs and essential oils
• colors and yarn
• knots, marks, symbols, and meaningful objects
• texture and visual mood: eerie, grounded, soft, or armed
• personal materials you want incorporated

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what any of that should be.

Bring me the part you know.

I will suggest possibilities and explain why I think they belong. You make the choices that matter to you. If you want to hand some of those decisions back to me, you can.

If you have something personal that belongs inside or on her, tell me. A ring. A photograph. A letter you never sent. A lock of hair. A key to a house you do not live in anymore. A small object carrying a history. We will talk about whether and how it becomes part of her before you send it.

Nothing goes into the doll without purpose.

Size Sets the Starting Price

Completely custom work begins with size. These prices are starting points because the final materials and build do not exist yet.

This line stops at 10 inches. The cross armature is the whole identity of a You-Do-You Voodoo™ doll, and past 10 inches her proportions go wrong and she stops reading as herself. If what you want is scale, a presence that holds its own corner of the room, that work belongs to a completely custom SoulStitch™ doll, which runs up to 18 inches.

She is light in the hand, well under two pounds.
Unusual materials or a build requiring substantially more work may raise the final price. You will know the complete price and approve it before I begin building. There will be no surprise invoice amount waiting at the other end.

Deposit Conditions

After our first conversation, once we agree on the final price and you approve the build, your deposit becomes nonrefundable. That first conversation is the time to ask questions, change direction, or decide the commission is not right for you. If you choose to stop before approving the final price, I will refund what you paid.

How Commissioning Works

1. Choose her size and place your order. Pay 50% or 100% of the starting price at checkout.
2. Tell me what you are working on. After your order, I’ll send you a link to the custom-doll form. Give me the intention, the story behind it, images, thoughts, contradictions, and half-formed pieces you already have. You do not need to solve the doll before you come to me.
3. We shape her together. I review what you send and contact you within two business days. We talk through the intention, materials, choices, and anything I need to understand.
4. You approve the final price. Anything above the starting price is discussed during our first conversation before the build begins. This is also your opportunity to decide whether you want to continue. If you stop here, I refund what you paid. Once you approve the final price and the commission moves forward, your deposit becomes nonrefundable.
5. I build her. I photograph the process as she takes form. When she is finished, any remaining balance is due before she leaves my studio.

Nothing is made until the meaning is clear.

What Comes With Her

The finished doll is only part of what arrives. You also receive the record of her making, the meanings carried in her materials, and guidance for beginning your own relationship with her.

Creation Sheet: My original sketch, process notes, impressions, scraps, marks, and whatever else the making left behind.

Story Card: Her story, gathered from what emerged while she took form.

Certificate of Authenticity: A signed record of her appearance, materials, completion date, and ownership.

Letter to Keeper: My notes on the compositional elements chosen for her, along with details from the build and the personality that emerged in my hands.

Care and Precautions: Guidance for caring for her materials, including any safety information specific to what she carries.

Pictures of the Build: Photographs of her construction, including the layers and materials you will never see once she is finished.

Energetic Guide for Using Your Doll: Ways to begin working with her through ritual, reflection, conversation, placement, and your own ongoing practice.

For the Keeper’s Pocket: A matching selection of gemstones, oils, or herbs connected to the materials built into or carried with your doll.

You receive the finished doll. You also receive the evidence of how she became herself.

What She Is For

A You-Do-You Voodoo™ doll gives your chosen intention somewhere to stand in your physical world. Once the intention has a body, you can work with it instead of carrying and re-carrying it inside your head all day.

Use her to keep the work visible. Set her where you pass her: a shelf at eye level, a desk, a bedside table, a doorway, the corner of the studio. Acknowledge her when you go by. Touch her on the way out the door before the conversation you have been dreading. The point is not display. The point is that the intention stops being something you have to remember and becomes something you keep meeting.

Use her in shadow work when something exiled wants to speak. Bring her into active imagination and ask what she has been holding for you: the anger, the instinct, the hunger, the truth you kept swallowing because survival required manners. Ask what keeps returning through reaction or refusal. You are learning to recognize what your Shadow has been keeping and what changes when you answer.

She can hold what needs somewhere to land: grief, rage, longing, uncertainty, memory, contradiction. Write the intention, the vow, the question, or the boundary and place it beneath her. Set one of her matching stones beside the page. Come back tomorrow. See whether the thing you wrote has changed.

Hold her when thought has gone to static. Feel the yarn, the bindings, the stone, the knots, the shape of her. Reach for the loose stones, herbs, and oils that came with her. Her compositional elements give the same intention several physical languages: touch, scent, color, symbol, texture. You can work with one when another feels too far away.

And watch what changes between you.

The intention you chose may begin as protection and become permission. A boundary doll may stop being about the person you built her against and start being about the room you are finally willing to take up. The doll built for rage may turn out to have been built for grief the entire time. That change matters. She is built for the whole intention: the version you named and the version underneath it.

Some Keepers eventually develop their own rituals with their dolls. Certain questions get asked in front of her. A stone gets carried on difficult days. She changes places when something shifts. She becomes the object you reach for before writing, the presence at the door when a boundary is being rebuilt, or the witness beside you when there is finally language for something that spent years without it.

The relationship develops through use.

A completely custom You-Do-You Voodoo™ Doll asks for more than choosing what looks good together. We are deciding what deserves a body, what that body needs to hold, and how you want to meet it once she comes home.

Before You Commission Her

You-Do-You Voodoo™ Dolls are self-focused art dolls built for personal empowerment, intention-setting, boundary work, shadow collaboration, and psychological integration. They are not tools for controlling, harming, punishing, or manipulating anyone. The “You-Do-You” is the whole point. This begins and ends with your own internal landscape.

She will not fight for you, try to fix you, cure you, or take responsibility for your life. That work stays yours. She makes it harder to abandon.

These dolls are not toys and are not for children. They contain small parts, wire, stones, fibers, oils, herbs, and other materials. Oils and herbs are included for symbolic and sensory use. Read the material information included with your doll before applying anything to your skin.
