You’ve reserved a place on my workbench. Now tell me what I’m building.

This is where you hand me the pieces. Bring the figure if you know the figure. Bring the fear if that’s the part you can name. You don’t need to arrive with both, and you don’t need to explain yourself well. Give me what you have and leave me room for what shows up in my hands.

Only five questions are required. Answer those and stop if the rest is more than you want to do. After I read what you send, I’ll contact you the way you choose below so we can talk it through before I start.

Name It *If you know the figure, name the figure. Mothman. The Old Hag. Dracula. La Llorona. A character out of a book you never got over. If you know the fear and not the face it wears, name the fear instead. Being watched. Losing yourself. Something standing at the foot of the bed. If you have both, give me both. I need something that can take a body, so name the thing rather than the event.What is its hold on you, and how long has it had it? *Did it start with a dream you had at six, or a movie you should not have watched? Is it still with you, or did it go quiet years ago and leave the mark anyway? Be honest about the pull, too. Some people are afraid of the thing. Some are fascinated by it. Plenty are both.Anything you are drawn to?Colors, textures, fabrics, a mood, a season, a kind of light. Say what pulls you. On an Oddity I choose the gemstones myself, one to three depending on size, because they are chosen to fit the figure.
